Europe was never high on my travel priority list as a young adult. I regarded it as a bit too oldie-worldy; full of broken statues and other remnants of by-gone empires and ages past. "Like a wax museum with a pulse" is the expression I believe...

But as I got older and talked more to people who had visited Europe it seemed to have a lot more to offer than I had first thought and in 1990, I moved to the UK ostensibly to work/travel around Europe.

Unfortunately I haven't seen as much as I would like to see but check out the links in the left border under 'Europe & the Med' for a few of my favourites...
